Flowing overflow pipe

Post by scooter2878 » Sun Feb 17, 2008 8:45 pm

Hi all,

I wonder if anybody can help, I have noticed that when my heating comes on water flows out of the overflow pipe for about 2-3 mins then stops, we changed the ball cock in March last year so not sure if its that?

Wonder if there is anything I can do before I call a plumber out

Try adjusting the ball valve so that the water level settles at an inch below the overflow pipe orifice in the feed and expansion tank.
