I need some advice about introducing a cleansing agent my system
My boiler is making banging noises which I believe is a result of limescale.
I have been told to drain the system and put a descaler or cleansing agent into the feed and expansion tank in the loft.
However we have no tanks in the loft.
We have an open vented thermal storage unit with an integral feed and expansion tank.
What is the best way of cleansing this type of system.
Any advice would be appreciated
