Garden patio

by markwilliams82 » Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:27 pm

Hey everyone, I've recently moved into my first house with my gf and we're starting to work on the garden and want to slab an area of garden at the bottom for putting some storage on and some pots....however I've never laid slabs in my life.....stupid question, what do I need to do?

At the moment the area of land where I'm planning on doing this has rubble with soil on top and is pretty even. can I concrete straight onto this or do I need a more suitable layer underneath?
