GATE fixing - fence posts to walls...?

Hi,

I have a wrought iron garden gate which I need to fix to the side of the house and a garden wall. I have already bought two 4"x4" timber fence posts and now need to fix them to the walls. What fixings do I need? Frame fixings? And also what length fixings are required?

Yep frame fixings, I would choose 12mm x 160mm

A friend was supposed to come down and fix it for me, but he hasn't turned up, so at least I can now go ahead and do it myself.
