hanging new internal doors

by amberline » Sun Feb 28, 2010 7:14 pm

hello, have been hanging some internal doors.6 of them have gone up ok and 2 are twisted after installation.if i close door so that the top is flush with frame, the bottom kicks out almost the depth of the door.previous door was ok and new door has been fitted exactly in old hinge recesses on frame.new hinges have been recessed exactly flush with door .have put spirit level across door all ways and it does not appear to be warped.any suggestions please.

amberline,
More checking with level needed.
With the door closed use level vertically on the hinge side and then on the lock side. If both are vertical (or out by the same amount) then it must be the frame - check this with level.
end
