help needed

by tyneside » Sun Sep 16, 2007 1:23 pm

doing a small tile job round my bath, ive removed a single layer of tiles/or row if thats how its put, that was already on,my problem is that at on end of the bath there is about an half inch gap from the wall to the bath and if i place a tile here there is still a gap between bath and wall.do i try to build this bit of gap out with filler first or do i try and wedge a batton of wood down the gap between bath and wall for tile to sit on,,all other sides of bath sit flush with wall and bath cannot be moved.

HI tyneside,
Have you considered using a tile trim/edging bead, will that cover the gap up without having to mess about trying to fill it out. You can buy various thinkness and colours from DIY shops.
