Good afternoon Forum,
I need some advice on installing a new door lining, i have had the kitchen tiled and the old door lining was removed to allow for the tiles to fitted up to the wall.
I have now bought a new lining from howdens but the actual door lining is 203 cm tall, however i understand that a standard door is 1981mm tall.
my question to you professionals is do i cut the door frame to 1981mm and sit it on the straight on to the tiled floor?
Sorry for the stupid questions but at present the frame in my opinion is going to be to tall for the actual door.
the guy in howdens did say " screw it all together and scquare an you good to go"
I cant see how this will work with out trimming it down any help would be gratefully appreciated.
