Hollow core door

Post by RoyG » Thu Oct 22, 2009 8:45 pm

I want to screw some simple towel hooks to the bathroom door. The door is a hollow core and it doesn't seem to me that the pressed hardboard skin is going to provide a good enough anchor for the screws.

I've looked at various hollow wall fixings in the sheds but they all seem to need a fitting thickness of 5mm or so and the hooks aren't that thick. What else can I do? Don't really want to glue them, I don't trust glue that much
