Hello, we have a problem with hot water coming from our showers (both Cross water shower valves) but only intermittent hot water from our taps. We have had 3 plumbers in and no one knows what the problem is. So any ideas would be a real help. The shower valves and all our plumbing are 2 yrs old and were working fine until 6 months ago.
The problem started with no water at all coming from one of the showers - this was "fixed" by taking off the Cross water valves and putting them back on. The temp gauge on one of the shower valves now feels "gritty" and no longer turns smoothly.
I have spoken to Cross water who think a new cartridge could be needed or that there could be a problem with the no return valve?
Any tips or ideas would be really appreciated.
