Hot water pressure

by MATTBUZZBILL » Mon Jan 12, 2009 10:24 pm

All of a sudden, the hot water pressure from my Alpha boiler has dropped. The taps and shower in the house are all suffering from this noticable drop in pressure (or flow??).

The water has not droppped in temperature at all.

Could the pump in the boiler be broken? Or could it be something else?

Help!!!

if it's a combi then there is no pump.

has the cold water mains pressure dropped as well - if yes then that's the problem, if no then:
1/ see if you can increase the flow rate into the boiler (open and close the cold water service valve a couple of times to see if there is a blockage)

2/. you have a fault and need to call an engineer out
