How much flexible adhesive?

I am about to tile my kitchen on top of underfloor heating. The only thing is, i don't know how much i need. Is 20 Kgs of adhesive enough? I suspect it wont be.

Also any recommendations on a good product to use. I am going to use the ready mixed variety.

Also underfloor heating. I am installing it my self so i wanted some advise on that one too. Do i have to use insulation boards if installing on concrete floors. I am fitting 1cm thick tiles, and with 6mm of insulation board this will make a step into my kitchen which i want to avoid.
