How to reduce noise from refilling toilet cistern

Post by Nicholas Bown » Wed Jun 06, 2007 9:57 am

I have three toilet cisterns in my house, two make no noise on refilling, the third, which I replaced, is very noisy on refill. How can I eliminate this noise?

depends on the noise, is it a vibrating or humming noise or just the sound of the cistern filling ? if its just the sound of water fit ballaufix valves and reduce the flow of the water until the noise stops
