Hoping for an easy fix before I call the gas engineer once again.
My Ideal FF240 boiler has been working without issue for years, although in early December the fan was changed.
Up until yesterday its been working great, however......
If I switch the boiler off and then back on, it fires up no problem...for about 20 seconds and then cuts off. This seems to coincide with water entering the boiler and it does sound as though there might be air in the system.
I was going to drain the system and start again to see if this cures it, but thought I would ask for some help and guidance to see if there is an easier and quicker fix.
