Installation of stone shower tray on concrete floor

Post by Aidan » Fri Feb 08, 2008 8:26 pm

Hi all

I'm fitting a new downstairs bathroom suite and the floor is concrete, i am wanting to know the best way of installing the shower tray onto this and obviously to bed it up to allow for waste underneath.

Any tips appreciated as i'll be doing this sometime over the weekend!

4x4 timber joists as to allow the trap to sit between tray and floor

i would put 18mm marine plywood on top of the 4x4 then pva and bed the tray to that.
