Interior "Borrowed Light"
I'm about to have a hall/stairs/landing plastered so have an opportunity to install a "Borrowed Light" over a bedroom door. Can anyone direct me to some online specs that give advice or plans?

Cant really direct you to anywhere as I'm not sure what exists to cover this. Few pointers though: 1. If the wall is load bearing, you'll need to put a lintel in a high level. 2. Line the structural opening with a softwood liner and fix the glass in place with glazing beads. 3. Finish it all off with architrave to match the door (might need to renew it around the door too! Its quite a basic job, No 1. above is by far the most important. Hope this helps LCL
