JG Speedfit for Duo-Tec Combi Boiler System?

by Zacccc » Tue Nov 11, 2014 12:57 am

I'm doing some work on my CH system (which runs off a Duo-tec Combi HE A Range 28 model) and I'm intending to use some JG Speedfit plastic fittings (tees and elbows). The Screwfix catalogue says that these are suitable for pressurized and combi systems but I'd be interested to know if the lads on here think that's ok or not. Thanks.

Hi Zacccc

Yes Speedfit will take it but, call me old fashioned, I wouldn't dream of using anything other than copper with soldered joints.

Hi proptech

Thanks for that. However, soldering's a bit beyond me! But thanks for your input anyway.
