    Kitchen extension and conservatory removal

    Postby Edpaterson » Sun Feb 27, 2011 1:42 pm

    Hi

I am considering removing my existing conservatory and replacing it with an extension to my kitchen. The conservatory has a concrete floor which does not have insulation under it. Will all the concrete have to be removed to enable insulation to be fitted under the new extension floor? If so how difficult is this likely to be?

you will need planning, and have to remove all the floor and probably the foundation aswell.
Its not that hard to do with a jackhammer.

Many thanks for your rapid reply. I thought that removal was the answer but was hoping that it might not be required. Ah well another cost to factor in.

    Thanks again
