Laminate flooring in Kitchen

My kitchen cupboards are a warm, cherry colour (Calvados is the name of the colour) and I want to fit a laminate floor cover that goes with the cupboards but I'm really struggling to work out what matches. I wanted to go for a bleached oak floor throughout (as the kitchen and lounge are all in one room) but I'm not sure this would look right against the warmth of the cupboards. Has anyone any ideas on what would look best or are the any other websites that offer this sort of advise?
