Landing light, upstairs or downstairs circut?

by Lee8210 » Wed Jul 04, 2007 11:17 pm

What circut should my landing light be on the upstairs or downstairs?
It has a switch at the bottom of the stairs and at the top.
At the moment it is wired to the downstairs circut.
Thanks in advance,
Lee.

Hi Lee,
It can be on either as some properties only have 1 circuit, but idealy for isolation purposes it would be better on upstairs circuit, regards

This is the way I was going to go with it but just wanted to make sure there wasn't a special reason for it being on the downstairs circut.
Thanks.
