Can anyone give me an idea of what I should be paying per square metre for good quality turf supplied and laid.

Dodgy turf

by ju-ju » Mon Apr 23, 2007 1:15 pm

Hi,
It always pays to go and see the turf. I brought some a couple of years ago for about £2.90 metre 2. It looks like it was grown on a clay type of base. When it rains it is like a sponge and goes really boggy. The top soil underneath it was really good. It has since gone bald.
