I have a leaking corner gutter. In light rain it drips through and in heavy rain pours over the edge onto my neighbour's drive. I have had a set of cowboys come in clear the gutters and supposedly fix the corner joint and charged me £150. It didn't work and they vanished.
Trying rated people (again) a guy came round and tried to sell me plastic drip edge flashing - the house is 1905 and the soffits are over 15 years old, but I didn't see how it would solve the problem of the gutter leaking - but put more water into the gutters? He quoted £340 to put the flashing on all my gutters - it's and end terrace so that's three gutters, and he would replace the corner unit of the guttering. He talked very quickly.
I haven't accepted his quote and would welcome comments.
