Light Fitting

Post by Sentinel » Sun Mar 30, 2008 2:03 pm

Help please fellas. Just got a new lamp for top of stairs. There are three arms to the light fitting, each has one brown and one blue wire. There is one earth wire in the centre. Now then, even a novice like me gets that bit. Here's the problem, when I looked in the rose there's loads of wiring due to the circuit having upstairs and downstairs switches. And I am unsure how this is gonna fit???? HELP :(

See DOCS 'project' changing a light fitting - in glorious colour, main thing is to mark the switch wire connected to the existing fittings brown flex BEFORE disconnecting anything.....
