Hi guys, I have replaced my pendant light fitting with a spot light fitting in my lounge. There are two light fittings which are both operated by a single dimmer switch.
I havw a further switch which operates an outside light.
I only have two cables coming into the light fitting;
1 x 3 core consisting of 1 x black, 1 x red & 1x cpc
1 x 4 core consisting of 1 x black, 1 x red, 1 x yellow & 1 x cpc
both lounge lights work using the dimmer, but when i operate the external light via separate switch it switches on the lounge lights and only lights the outside light very dimmly....
what am i doing wrong?? :?:
