Lighting in a Conservatory - Can I Fit a Dimmer Switch?

Post by Tmw » Sun Sep 01, 2013 3:19 pm

Dimmer Switch Please help. I have a light fitting in the conservatory that is fed from the 13 amp circuit that is in the conservatory. The wiring comes from a fused socket and goes to a 5 amp fused switch. Finally the question, can I interrupt the wiring from fused switch to the light fitting with a dimmer switch.

Using the grid switch system, dimmer, switch and fuse can all be in the same switch box.
