Lighting Junction Box

by Lawrence » Mon May 07, 2007 9:13 am

I need to extend my lighting radial circuit and am a bit confused about what sort of junction box to use - 5A, 20A, 30A....? The circuit is run in 1.5mm cable with a 10A MCB.

Are there any 4 way junction boxes with easy to connect to terminals - the ones I have used are very fiddly to get 4 cables into. I've seen an MK 10A box with double conections at each terminal but am not sure whether 10A is the right size box

thanks

As circuit fused at 10 A then must assume that load possible so need to use 10 A min size JB.
The one you saw seems ideal,
