Earth is Green and Yellow
For a single phase supply
Line is Brown was Red
Neutral is Blue was Black
On three phase supply
L1 Brown was Red
L2 Black was Yellow
L3 Gray was Blue
Neutral Blue was Black
There are colours for DC etc. but I would not think you need them. The Earth wire as Green and Yellow can not be used for anything but earth but the other wires can have sleeves and be used for other things for example on domestic lights the wire from ceiling rose to and from switch is normally Brown and Blue with brown sleeving in the blue. Although not strictly to regulations triple and earth with Brown, Black, Gray is used between light switches should be three browns and Brown, Blue and Green/yellow is used on 110volt but should be Brown, Black and Green/Yellow as split phase supply. So don't relay on colours. Oh yes neutral is considered as being a live wire so we are now to call the phase wires Line not Live. This is to stop confusion!!!!!!!!
