Mobile home gas boiler

Post by Linda66 » Tue Dec 04, 2007 9:20 pm

Help - again! I have to "shut down" my mobile home for the winter in case it freezes and the pipes burst. I know the pipes have to be drained but don't understand how to remove the bung, which is apparently also necessary. Don't even know what a bung looks like! The boiler's a Rinnai BU150-047(00). If anyone knows....I wait with baited breath. Thanks. Linda

does your caravan have water filled radiators ? probably not so....

disconnect cold water supply - open the hot and cold taps, drain the caravan using the drain point under the van and that should be it.

It's abit late to be draining down now, as we've had quite cold weather, should have been done end october - november time.

Hope this helps
