Was hoping some of you guys might be able to put my mind at rest really this issue
Had a new thermostatic shower fitted along with new bathroom. Runs of combi boiler which is 5 years old. Never had problem with old thermostatic shower.
The new one however will only give cold water even on max setting of hot...I. e. Turn temp knob all the way towards you. It gets very slightly warm...as in its no longer ice cold...but still not bearable.
I get really hot water from sink. Our other thermostatic shower in spare bathroom gets hot water...although I noticed not as hot as before since this new bathroom was installed.
My worry is if the new shower has been plumbed in incorrectly as everything is tiled up now. Does this sound like a strong possibility? Is there anyway to check this without being able to see pipes. The sink is hot on left cold on right so hoping they would have done same for shower.
