NVQ 3

Hi is there any body just done this NVQ 3 if so can you give me some tips on getting this done

HI

I'm a college lecturer. NVQ means national vocational qualification, as such you can only do an NVQ if you are employed and doing the work specific to that nvq.

So to do an nvq 3 you will need to be working at, or at least have access to those specific nvq 3 work. So you may tell your boss that you are doing this at college for you nvq and you need experience in doing that type of work.

I may be that you are not doing all the work to get all the nvq units to get a full nvq, as such you can just do the specific units that you want and do the others at a later date to get a qualification.

Hi there, done my NVQ 3 last year as required for JIB Approved Elec.
Took about 14 months in total, with regular site visits from assessor, different units required with types of wirnig & systems(SWA,MICC,PVC) etc...
Worth doing as recognised by JIB as leading Qual..............
