Paint on wooden floor

by patshaw78@hotmail.com » Fri Jan 18, 2008 10:08 am

We have recently removed carpet from our dining room and have found the wooden floor to be in good condition, therefore we would like to keep the floor as it is, there is just one problem that we have, paint on some parts of the floor, can someone help us with suggestions on removing?

If we are talking of the fine spray that can come from using a roller on the wall you could probably remove it with a light abrasive on a buffer machine or similar. After this you would have to replenish or re-seal the floor to remove all the small scratches. Do you know the type of finish?
Anything more than a fine spray and you would be best off re-sanding and starting again.
