can anyone recommend a brand a paint for exterior painting of a house. Also does it need to be sealed first and then painted and how many coats of paint?
    thanks very much

    rose,
Sandtex used to come out top when Which were testing masonry paints but they seem to have stopped these tests. Read the instructions supplied with whatever paint you choose and don't stint on preparation.

    rose,
Thanks for the reply - if its any encouragement I painted the outside of a house at least 10 years ago with Sandtex and it still looks good.
