Patio Doors

Post by Wagstaf » Tue May 22, 2007 8:41 pm

We are looking to replace our old aluminium patio doors which sit between an interior room and conservatory so don't necessarily need to be exterior doors although cold draughts blow through.

It's 6ft (1700mm) width. Who could supply softwood french doors or is it worth getting a quote for a joiner to make them up? Could I make a frame up and then get doors to fit? Are seals and draught proofing available?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Door frames and french doors in hard & soft wood are available from most Builders Merchants. Ask for a catalogue. 6' x 6'6" is a standard size. Good luck. Click onto our projects page for more information.
