pipe through DPM

Post by mortarboard » Tue Jul 08, 2008 8:11 pm

I want to bring a pipe up through my DPM before I pour my floor slab.

Can anyone tell me if its OK to just cut a hole and push it through or is there some particular way I should seal round it?

Many thanks

Pipe through dpm

I'd not punch a hole in it and try and seal it at the dpm level.

Scrunch up the dpm in a sort of wizard's had " __A__ " shape, bringing the peak up above the concrete floor level, and put the pipe through at the very top, so that there is no breach in the dpm below the floor.

Tony.
