    can you tell me the correct method to assemble speedfit fittings,
    plastic pipe to plastic pipe, & plastic pipe to copper pipe

    To join speedfit to anything you must first push in a pipe insert. This strengthens the end of the pipe and stops it compressing. plastic and copper can be joined using a speedifit fitting ( bend, straight coupling etc) or normal copper compression fittings. Click on the first link for the pipe inserts and the second for fittings and pipe.
