Power showers.

Guys, I can't find a specific forum related to power showers so I'll take my chance here as it's sort of plumbing-related! We have a gravity-fed system hence I'm fitting a power shower, AquaLisa Quartz, which comes with a pump. At some point in the future, I'm thinking of replacing my back-boiler with a combi-boiler.

I was told that you cannot run a power shower from a combi-boiler because they can only be run from gravity-feed systems? I'm not sure why that is. Can some explain? Is it a legal requirement or is it related to an incompatability?
