Preperation

Post by Tonza » Wed Sep 05, 2007 7:17 pm

Hi can anyone help. It is probably such a simple question but here goes. I currently have plaster walls in my kitchen and we are just looking at painting the walls instead of wallpapering. I have chased out the walls in places to a dept of around 30mm. To replaster over the chasing out will i need to apply bonding first to fill in the chases and once that has gone off apply the plaster finish?

Thanks

hi Tonza,
nothing wrong with doing it that way. firstly make sure area free from dust and loose plaster and apply some diluted pva to chased area before bonding.
good luck
