when opening up a spider there are three grey wires running into it.
Two of the grey wires have three strands - red, earth and black but the fourth wire has an additional yellow strand.
The grey strand with four wires and the grey strand with three wires are wired up traditionally ie red to red etc leaving one yellow wire. the final grey wire uses the blue strand and this is wired into this spare yellow with the other two wires ( a brown and earth ) just cut off. this doesnt seem right.
how should these two unattached wires be wired up ? It is from a two way light switch.
