putting a temporary windbreak up on a gravel drive

by kathedwards » Mon Apr 20, 2009 11:17 am

I want to put some holes in my drive so that when needed I can drop the poles on my windbreak in to give shelter from the wind. I was thinking of something along the lines of what you do with a rotary washing line. I need to be able to remove the windbreak each time after use. What would be the best method? The windbreak is 18 feet long

kathedwards,
Trouble is you will need to find specialist pockets to set in the ground. You could try driving in lengths of steel pipe but you need to form a sealed point on the end.
