Radiator valve Thermostat RAS-C2 Combi

Hi...Just about to sell flat....Alpha gas central heating system...abot 4 y.o.
One radiator not heating up...believe it is outlet valve which has a needle type 'thing' that is sticking ...thing is how do I dismantle plastic cover etc to access needle valve....can u post pictures on here..if so how???.....thanks in advance,

Hi; I presume the rad valve is a Danfoss RAS C2 by your title...

If you look at the valve; you can see a knurled metal ring where the plastic body ends.... This is the nut to remove the head... Simply turn it clockwise and the head will come off.... Do not try to remove any other nut as you'll get wet rather quickly.

My best advice for dealing with sticky valves is vibration a few short, light taps on the head of the pin followed by one heavier tap will normally free the pin. Quite normal for rad valves to stick and depending on the brand; there is very little you can do.
