    Hi All,

I've going to use some 2.4m decking boards to create some raised flower beds in my front garden, I've got some treated stakes that I wll be driving into the ground to secure the decking boards to but was wondering what sort of distance between stakes is best for the boards to help prevent major distortion/movement over time?

I had though of 4 stakes along the length as there will be two deckboards high (stagered jonts) - is this sufficient in peoples minds?

    Izzy1977,
Depends on the size of the stakes and how long they are.
If you use 75x75mm stakes and drive them in 0.5m most of them will probably be OK for 5 years.
    end
