Really Old Radiator Key

Postby CHROMECODER » Mon Sep 07, 2009 12:46 pm

Hi, I live in a rented property that has some ancient radiators (boiler is fairly new and passes it's inspections thank god). I need to bleed the last rad on the run, but rather than having the standard size turn shape that fits most modern keys (square) the turn is a thin oblong. Have tried all local DIY stores to no avail. Also tried a pair of pliers and ended up with an amazing blood blister... Any advise much appreciated. Sarah
