    Removing snapped screws

    Postby tedshez » Mon Jan 18, 2010 4:31 pm

    Help needed please

Just trried to remove a broken shower head holder from a wall and 2 of the screws had rusted through and have snapped about half way down the shaft. What is the best way to remove them? They are in a tiled wall in a shower cubicle.

    Any help greatly appreciated

If there is nothing sticking out which you can grab with pliers then it may not be possible to remove them without damaging the wall. Drilling them out may be the best option although if the wall is softer than the screws it is very hard.
