Hi, I am hoping someone can help me. We have just moved into a bungalow which has the side wall rendered. I planned on painting it as it looks like it hasnt been painted in a while. Anyway when I had a closer look and rubbed my hand over the wall what felt like grains of sand fell off the wall as i rubbed it.
Does this sound right ? do I just paint over it or do i blast all the grains off with a brush or power washer or am I supposed to put some kind of sealent on to keep the grains attached to the wall?
Any advice would be great
