Renovating chipped paintwork on skirting and door frames

    Postby jopugh » Sun Jan 24, 2010 2:57 pm

    Hi

I am looking to sell my house this year and want to tidy up the paintwork on the skirting boards and internal door frames which are chipped and in some places badly painted.

What is the best way to tackle this problem? I'm happy to put in the work stripping and sanding, but as we're selling don't want to put in any more effort than is really required!

    Thanks.

lightly sand the whole frame/skirting board, apply a couple of coats of an all-in-one good quality primer and undercoat. then top coat. easy.
