repairing furniture

Hi i want to restore some old furniture to its best . I noticed that on ebay someone is selling a mays wood finishing kit which repairs furniture scuff marks, holes doors and flooring and includes a step by step dvd .Its looks really good but i want to know if anyone has tried this and could give me some feedback on this before i purchase this . your help on this would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance
