Replacing toilet syphon and ball cock

Hi,

I am having problems with my cistern and I am considering having a plumber change the syphon and ball cock on my close coupled toilet cistern. How long would a competent plumber take to do the job?

Depends on the type of cistern
Shouldn't take long about 1/2 hour, about 3/4 - 1 hour if it's a close coupled cistern.
