Replacing Waste on Cast Iron Bath and Need Some Opinions

Hi.
I'm going to try replacing the waste and rose on our bath and would appreciate if anyone could look at my photos and possibly foresee and problems I might have. The trap looks like it's been replaced already which is good, I think!

I see no problem in replacing it, it should all screw off
