Rerouting telephone cable around uvpc front door unit

My telephone cable currently is routed through a small drilled hole in the wooden frame of our front door at floor level. We are having a uvpc replacement door fitted, but not sure best way to reroute the telephone cable - any ideas ?

Cut the frame away from the cable, bury the cable in the wall and fit the door. If the cable is on the BT side of your master socket and it goes wrong BT will want loads of money to put it right.
