ROOF DESIGN - FLUSH GABLE DETAIL

Hi,

I am hoping to create a flush gable detail at my new house and would like some advice on the best way to achieve this.

As the last rafter will stop beside the inner leaf of blockwork, how will I fix battens accross the block cavity wall to support the roof tiles?

The battens are cantilevered over the cavity wall but finishing short of the outer edge of the outer leaf so you can mortar the verge.
