Rotary Isolator Switch

by Andy F » Thu May 31, 2007 8:32 pm

Hopefully someone can help, A friend has an isolater switch to an outside pool ( Very Nice ). One of the kids smashed it and the new one is completely different. The supply and load cable are basic 3 core swa Phase , neutral and earth. The new isolater they've bought is I think this one.

Beacuse it's different to the old one need a bit of advice, as you look at the connectors inside to the left hand side you have the earthing terminals. To the right are 6 ( 3 high and 3 low ) Terminals Labled on the top L1 L3 L5 and underneath L2 L4 L6 and to the right of that there is a terminal with a diagram of a broken line on it ( like you may get in a light switch diag ) Am I correct in assuming Earth cable to earth term on left , Phase to L1 supply and L2 load, and the Neutral goes to the term with the diag of the broken line?

Thanks
Andy
